S MOORESVILLE PLAN COMMISSION <br /> MINUTES <br /> THURSDAY FEBRUARY 28, 2008 <br /> The Mooresville Plan Commission met in regular session on Thursday February 28, 2008 <br /> At 6: p. m. at the Mooresville Government Center. <br /> Members present were: Chairman Mike Young, Commissioners Darrell Brown, James <br /> Logan, Perry King, John h rhart and Robert Williamson. Commission Charles Berwick <br /> was absent as well as Town Attorney Tim Currens. <br /> A motion was made by Commissioner Logan to approve the minutes from the Special <br /> meeting from February 13, 2008 a second was made by Commissioner King. The motion <br /> passed with a 6-0 vote with none opposed. <br /> Rick and Jenny Hunt 1133 St. Rd. 42 came before the Commission asking for help with <br /> the water run off from The Orchard Country Store area on State Road 42. They told the <br /> Commission how bad the water become with heavy rains and where the run off goes to <br /> the Tomlinson property at 921 St Rd 42. The also explained how the water ran before <br /> The Orchard Country Store was built and what it is now. Tony Langley from The <br /> Orchard Country Store came to say that they would install a pipe to correct the problem <br /> • as much as possible. They will need to seek permission from the Tomlinson's to cross <br /> their property and a permit from the State Highway to cut into 42's right of way. <br /> Mr. Stanley Butrum had come to meet with Carter- Lee on the noise and dust problems at <br /> their home at 9342 Old State Road 67. He did say that late in the year there was treatment <br /> put on the gravel, but it did not help much. Chairman Young said that he would talk to <br /> Tim Currens about asking someone from Carter-Lee to come to the March 27th meeting. <br /> Joe Beikman reported 12 Permits and 46 Inspections. <br /> With no further business Commissioner Logan motioned, with a second from <br /> Commissioner King to adjourn the meeting.
