March 20, 2012 <br /> The Mooresville Town Council met,in regular session on Tuesday, March 20, 2012, at <br /> 6:30 P. M. at the Mooresville Governnent Center. <br /> Town Council members present were: President George Watkins, Vice-President Mark <br /> Lfadiis, 1 Ony Langley, Virginia Perry, and Jeff Cook. No members were absent. Town <br /> _ attorney Tim Currens was present. <br /> George Watkins gave the prayer. <br /> A motion was made by Councilman Mathis with a second by Councilwoman Perry to <br /> approve the minutes of March 6, 2012. Motion carried 5-0. <br /> A motion was made by Councilman Mathis with a second by Councilman Langley to <br /> approve payment of the claims in the amount of$107,359.68. Motion carried 5-0. <br /> There being no further business to come before the council at this time a motion was <br /> made by Councilman Mathis with a second by Councilwoman Perry to adjourn the <br /> meeting. Motion carried 5-0. <br /> The next regular scheduled meeting of the Mooresville Town Council is April 3, 2012, at <br /> 6:30 P. M. at the Mooresville Government Center. <br /> Council members present were: Vice-President Mark Mathis, Tony Langley, and <br /> Virginia Perry. Jeff Cook and George Watkins were absent. Town attorney Tun <br /> Currens was present. <br /> Vice-President Mark Mathis gave the prayer. <br /> A motion was made by Councilwoman Perry with a second by Councilman Langley to <br /> approve the minutes of March 12 and March 20, 2012. Motion carried 3-0. <br /> A motion was made by Councilman Langley with a second by Councilwoman Perry to <br /> approve St. Thomas More Church Apple fest banner and walk in September. The church <br /> is working with Chief Viles on the route for the walk. Motion carried 3-0. <br /> A motion Was made by Councilman Langley with a second by Councilwoman Perry to <br /> approve Lee Werking to hook on to the sewer at 807 Johnson Road. Mr. Werking has to <br /> sign a petition,for voluntary annexation and he is agreeable to signing. Motion carried 3- <br /> 0. <br /> A motion was made by Councilman Langley with a second by Councilwoman Perry to <br /> approve a voluntary annexation for Lots 12 and 13 at Flagstaff Business Park for J&J <br /> Commercial Investments, Inc. The next step will be for a public hearing on April 17, <br /> 2012. Motion carried 3-0. <br />
