Mr. Holloway said that the current tower puts Mr. Rogers at an economic disadvantage, it also puts the community at a disadvantage because he cannot send his signal past Mooresville corporate limits, the signal will not reach as far as Flagstaff, this puts him at a disadvantage that would discriminate against him unreasonably since he is already providing that service. Mr. Holloway said that it is not like he is coming into Mooresville to start up, his business is already located here. Mr. Holloway drew the attention of the board to the photo- graphs, showing how intrusive the addition to the tower would be. He also said the tower would be restrained in such a way to withstand high winds and would not be a danger to the surrounding properties. Joan Studgeon a historical preservation professional that was hired to prepare the National Register of Historical places nomination for down town Mooresville. Ms. Studgeon felt that it would be wrong to have a 80 foot tower to the down town area.Mr. Holloway said that he agreed that the Historical preservation is important,but they are not adding a tower but extending the tower.
