Board of Zoning and Appeals Minutes <br /> November 13, 2008 <br /> The Town of Mooresville Board of Zoning and Appeals met on November <br /> 13, 2008 at the Mooresville Government Center. Members present were <br /> Chairman Jon Swisher, along with Mike Young, Alan Kramer, Robert <br /> Williamson and Neal Allman. Town Attorney Tim Currens was also present. <br /> The meeting was called to order of Chairman Jon Swisher, at this time <br /> Chairman Swisher ask for a motion to approve or amend the minutes from <br /> the <br /> last meeting of July 10, 2008. Mr. Allman motioned to approve the minutes <br /> the second came from Mr. Young, the motion passed 3-0 with none opposed. <br /> Ross Holloway came to the Board asking for a Special Exception to allow <br /> Auto sales in a B3 district at 525 S Indiana.Street. Mr. Holloway explained. <br /> that the B3 has not been approved at this time it will be going to the Plan <br /> Commission at a later date. He explained that this would be for sales of, Off <br /> Road, Specialty Vehicles along with parts and accessories. Mr. Holloway <br /> said that there are B-3 establishments on three sides. Mr. Jack Ward spoke to <br /> say that there would not be a lot of cars on the lot, he also explained <br /> specialty vehicles: he found an I_, S 400 in Michigan that he bought for <br /> $16,000, it was a value of$60,000. Mr. Holloway said that there would be <br /> less traffic as the Pizza Hut and being on a side street that it is safer to enter <br /> and exit and it would fit well in the area as well. Mr. Holloway said that the <br /> impact on sewer and storm water would be much less. Mr. Allman asked. <br /> about inventory, it was said that there will only be a few vicheals at any <br /> time. With no other questions from the floor or board, Chairman Swisher <br /> read the Findings of Fact a motion after which a motion was made by Mr. <br /> Young to approve the special exception being subject to the approval of a <br /> rezone to B-3 from the Mooresville Planning Commission and Town <br />
