0 <br /> BOARD OF ZONING APPEALS <br /> MINUTES <br /> AUGUST 13, 2009 <br /> The meeting was called to order at 6:P.M. August 13, 2009 at the Mooresville <br /> Government Center. Members present Neal Allman, Mike Young, Alan Kramer and Ann <br /> Whaley. Town Attorney Tim Currens was also present. <br /> The first matter approval of minutes from the July 91h meeting, Chainnan Allman asked <br /> for any questions on the minutes, with no questions a motion was made by Mike Young <br /> and seconded by Alan Kramer to accept the minutes as presented,the motion carried 4-0 <br /> with none opposed. <br /> At this time Jason Stephey 11344 N Pennington Road came before the Board asking for a <br /> variance on setbacks to build a pole barn, he is asking for 6 foot set back verses 40 ft. <br /> Mr. Currens asked if the property was zoned agriculture, Mr. Stephey's answer was yes. <br /> . With no questions from the audience, Mr. Young asked if he was building so close was <br /> because of it being flat there, Mr. Stephey said yes and he will still need to do some work <br /> on the ground to the front. After the reading the Findings of Fact for Variance of Use was <br /> read by Mr. Allman a motion was made to approve the variance carne from Mr. Kramer <br /> and seconded by Mr. Young the motion carried 4-0 with none opposed. <br /> At this time Ann Whaley was introduced as the newest member of the Mooresville Board <br /> of Zoning Appeals. <br /> With no other business, Mr. Young motioned to adjourn,the second came from Mr. <br /> Kramer, the motion carried 4-0 with none opposed. <br /> The next Board of Zoning Appeals Meeting will be held on November 12, 2009 if any <br /> thing should be filed. <br /> c <br /> hai . an: <br /> A t: <br /> ecretary: <br />
