MOORESVILLE PLAN COMMISSION <br /> MINUTES <br /> THURSDAY,NOVEMBER 15, 2006 <br /> The Mooresville Plan Commission met on Thursday November 15, 2006 at 6:00 p.m. at <br /> the Mooresville Town Center. <br /> Commissioners present were: Chairman Mike Young, Commissioners Charles McGuire, <br /> Darrell Brown, Robert Corbin and John Ehrhart and Charles Berwick. Town attorney <br /> Tim Currens was also present. <br /> A motion was made and seconded to accept the minutes from the October 26, 2006 as <br /> written. The motion passed 5-0. <br /> The first item on the agenda was Ross Holloway representing Nancy Bill asking for a <br /> three lot Minor Plat on County Line Road approximately '/ mile west of White Lick <br /> Road. Commission Berwick ask where the access would be. Mr. Holloway said that it <br /> would be from County Line Road. Commissioner Brown asked if green cards and septic <br /> easements had been turned. They had been. Commissioner Ehrhart asked if the were 2 <br /> septic sights on each of the lots, Mr. Holloways answer was yes there are 2 sights of each <br /> lot. Mr. Jay of 755 E Joppa Road had drainage concerns. Mr. Holloway explained that <br /> these lots would not impact the drainage to the pond that was on another property not the <br /> property in question. With no further questions a motion was made by Commissioner <br /> McGuire, seconded by Commissioner Brown. The motion carried 6-0 with none opposed. <br /> Mr. Holloway for Glen Blackwell asking for a rezone from Ag. to B-2 on the property sw <br /> corner of State Road 42 and Bunkerhill Road, to build a Veterinary Clinic and offices. <br /> Mr. Holloway said that the request for B-2 with restrictions, the restrictions are the only <br /> use will be for a veterinary clinic and related veterinary uses and professional <br /> Commissioner Ehrhart asked where the access would be located, Mr. Holloways answer <br /> was that the entrance would be from Bunkerhill Road. Someone from the audience asked <br /> what a B-2 was, Mr. Holloway explained this to everyone. Jennifer Hunt, (1133 E. St. <br /> Rd. 42),Wanda Tomlinson, (1111 E. St. Rd. 42), Robert Gregory, (1058 E Tinchers Rd.) <br /> Cynthia Breedlove(1236 E St. 42) all had concerns with the drainage problems in the <br /> area. It was also asked if other buildings could be built on the property, the answer was <br /> that yes that could happen. Mr. Currens explained that the restrictions would prohibit any <br /> other use other then the Veterinary Clinic. Any thing else would need to come back to the <br /> Commission and everyone would be notified. Mr. Gregory said that he thinks that this <br /> would be the best use of this property.
