Town of Mooresville Plan Commission
• Minutes
Thursday February 22, 2007
RE: Brookmore
The Brookmore zoning question pertaining to certain lots which
the Town showed as R-3 was discussed. Mr. Currens advised that
Mr. Beikman was correct as to the card records in the Plan
Commission Office for the county reflecting that all of the lots
in Brookmore had been re-zoned to R-3, however, the actual
Minutes and Rezoning Ordinances of the County limited which lots
were rezoned to what our current R-3 classification would have
been to lots numbered 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 51, 52, 53, 54, 55,
56, 88, 119, 120, 121, 122, 123, 124, 155 and the east half of
154 . Mr. Beikman acted on the best information given to him
through the County, however, at this time we need to verify
which lots are properly zoned R-3 per the County' s original
designation and have our Zoning Map reflect the same. As to the
structure that is currently being constructed as an R-3 use and
the 2 additional lots that were represented as an R-3 use the
Plan Commission should consider whether or not these should be
rezoned if such use is consistent with the area and the
Comprehensive Plan to be consistent with the information given
at the time of inquiry, namely lots 85, 86 and 87 .
it
II/
