the community building for approval in the near future. Most of the streets and
infrastructure are completed.
Commissioner Ehrhart said he noticed that the pool was not there and was that
changed. Mr. Holloway said there would be a pool there. Commissioner Bryant
asked if this building was the same as building one and two. Mr. Holloway said all
the buildings were identical. There being no more questions from the board or the
audience Chairman Young asked for a motion to approve or deny.
Motion was made by Commissioner Ehrhart, second by Commissioner Corbin, to
approve the final plans for building ten at Jamestown Estates located on the corner
of Landersdale Road and Slideoff Road. Motion carried 9-0.
Next was Ross Holloway, Holloway Engineering, with the final site plan review for
Lot #14 at Flagstaff Business Park for Honey and Me expansion. He said it was
approximately a year ago they were here with the final plans for the existing
building. The business is doing so well in the last year they need to expand. The
proposed expansion will be immediately to the west approximately 24,000 sq. ft.; it
will be identical to the existing building and will increase the size by fifty percent.
They understand they have some storm water issues to address to the town; they
have more than enough space for additional storm water retention.
Commissioner Williamson stated that the other day he noticed they had pallets
stored in the parking lot and loading area. Mr. Holloway said that was right,
because they are out of space now and this should have been done with the original
building. He said they wanted to start this project immediately. Commissioner
Brown asked if the paved service part to the north was going to be expanded. Mr.
Holloway said that it probably would be, they have not given him any details on that
yet, but if that is a concern he can bring that back. He envisions it will go to the
west and there is a fire hydrant there now. Commissioner Brown asked if they
intended for the crushed stone drive to stay that way or were they going to put down
a hard surface. Mr. Holloway said our ordinance called for all parking areas and
drives to be hard surface and he will go back and tell them that these areas will have
to be hard surfaces. Commissioner Williamson said he noticed in the loading area
to the north that the trucks were getting out into the mud. Mr. Beikman asked how
they were going to handle the storm water and Mr. Holloway said they would
probably have to increase the size of the retention basin, they will either put in a
four bay or channels for the water. Mr. Beikman asked if they would use
impervious asphalt and Mr. Holloway said he would ask them. Commissioner
Williamson said he noticed that there was mud running across the road and asked
who was to maintain the road. Mr. Holloway said they were maintained by the
Park owners and he would contact them about the problem. He said they had
considerable design difficulty getting around the high pressure gas line that runs
through there. Commissioner Brown said when they talked on the phone, he
thought the water line was going north and then south, his concern is with the line
• going down the other side they will need another hydrant in the back.
