The Park Superintendent shall be entitled to comp time versus <br /> overtime due to his position being one of supervisor and head of <br /> the Department and other employees . The Park Superintendent <br /> shall be entitled to compensation time receive time off at the <br /> rate of l to 1, for every hour in excess of 40 hours worked he <br /> shall receive 1' hours time off as compensation. <br /> Overtime for Park & Recreation District employees shall be <br /> granted to the Director of Aquatics and Recreation, Officer <br /> Manager and Maintenance Supervisor exempting seasonal workers <br /> under the Fair Labor Standards Act that would qualify for this <br /> exemption. Employees that are not exempt shall be entitled to <br /> overtime compensation paid at the rate of 1 hours of wages for <br /> every 1 hour in excess of 40 hours of work per week. <br /> SECTION X. OVERTIME <br /> All Full--Time employees of the Town that are not elected <br /> officials and not excluded as supervisors shall receive overtime <br /> compensation. Overtime shall be defined as hours worked in <br /> excess of 40 hours per week. Overtime compensation shall be paid <br /> at the rate of 1 hours of wages for every 1 hour in excess of 40 <br /> hours of work per week. These provisions shall not apply to <br /> Police and Firemen where comp time is granted to these officers <br /> so long as the Federal Fair Labor Standards Act provisions are <br /> met. Seasonal and other part-time employees working overtime may <br /> elect to be paid at their prevailing hourly rate of pay or <br /> receive compensatory time at the rate of 1 to 1 . <br /> Mileage will be paid at $0 . 32 per mile driven by designated <br /> employees for Town business only. <br /> SECTION XI . LONGEVITY SCALE <br /> 0-4 Years $ 0 . 00 <br /> 5-9 Years 500 . 00 $19 . 23 <br /> 10-14 Years 1, 000 . 00 38 . 46 <br /> 15--19 Years 1, 500 . 00 57 . 69 <br /> 20 Years and above 2, 000 . 00 76. 92 <br /> This longevity scale was added in 2002 and is not additional to <br /> previous longevity amounts being paid but whichever is greater. <br /> Previous longevity pay shall be calculated by multiplying the <br /> number of years employed by the Town of Mooresville by $200 . 00 . <br /> The number of years employed shall be determined by counting the <br /> calendar year an employee was hired as 1 complete year, plus each <br /> successive year the employee has continued to be employed by the <br /> • <br /> Town, plus the calendar year 1991 (to be treated as 1 additional <br /> year) and adding these 3 figures together to derive the amount of <br /> longevity pay an employee would be entitled to. No employee <br /> shall receive any credit for longevity service after the year <br /> 1991 . <br />
