ORDINANCE 4 , 2006 <br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE 20 , 2005 <br /> "AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE COMPENSATION OF <br /> ELECTED OFFICIALS, OFFICERS, BOARD AND COMMISSION <br /> MEMBERS AND EMPLOYEES OF THE TOWN OF MOORESVILLE" <br /> WHEREAS, the Town Council for the Civil Town of Mooresville <br /> is responsible for setting the compensation for its elected <br /> officials, officers, board and commission members and employees; <br /> WHEREAS, Ordinance 20, 2005 set the aforementioned <br /> compensation for the year 2006; <br /> WHEREAS, it becomes necessary from time to time to amend the <br /> compensation and to add additional employees to the Town' s <br /> Compensation Ordinance . <br /> BE IT HEREBY ORDAINED that Ordinance 20, 2005 be amended as <br /> follows : <br /> Section I . This Section amends Section VI "Street <br /> Department" amending the pay to the Office Manager to a starting <br /> salary of Fourteen Dollars ($14 . 00) per hour which can be raised <br /> as warranted based upon evaluations not to exceed the sum of <br /> Thirty-Three Thousand Eight Hundred Seven and 80/100 Dollars <br /> ($33, 807 . 80) as an annual compensation. <br /> All other Sections of Section VI "Street Department" shall <br /> remain unchanged and all other Sections of Ordinance 20, 2005 not <br /> specifically amended shall remain as written. <br /> Section VII . This Section amends Section VII "Waste Water <br /> Treatment Plant" adding the position of part-time employment at <br /> the rate of Ten and 30/100 Dollars ($10 . 30) per hour and after <br /> one ( 1 year) a Twenty-Five Cent ($0 . 25) per hour increase on the <br />
