111 ORDINANCE / , 201w <br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE 17, 2010 <br /> AN ORDINANCE FIXING THE COMPENSATION OF <br /> ELECTED OFFICIALS, OFFICERS, BOARD AND COMMISSION <br /> MEMBERS AND EMPLOYEES OF THE TOWN OF MOORESVILLE <br /> WHEREAS, the Town Council for the Town of Mooresville is <br /> responsible for setting the compensation for its elected <br /> officials, officers, Board and Commission members and employees; <br /> WHEREAS, changes in the compensation are necessary from time <br /> to time to clarify the specific compensation being paid; <br /> BE IT HEREBY ORDAINED that the following Amendment to <br /> Ordinance 17, 2010 is approved and only amends those items <br /> specifically set out below as follows: <br /> Any reference in Ordinance 17, 2010 to compensation paid to <br /> a civilian employee that is entitled to benefits through the <br /> Public Employee Retirement Fund shall be changed from the 11 . 50% <br /> referenced in Ordinance 17, 2010 to 12 . 75% of the salary paid. <br /> This Section is not applicable to Section I, Mooresville Police <br /> Department or Section II, Mooresville Fire Department and only <br /> applies to those civilian employees specifically referenced in <br /> Ordinance 17, 2010 as being entitled to receive the benefit to <br /> the Public Employee Retirement Fund paid as a percentage of their <br /> • salary or income. <br /> All other Sections of Ordinance 17, 2010 not specifically <br /> amended herein shall remain in full force and effect . <br /> This Ordinance approved this 17th day of May, 2011 . <br />
