ORDINANCE 1, 2012 <br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE 12, 2011 <br /> AN ORDINANCE FIXING THE COMPENSATION OF <br /> ELECTED OFFICIALS, OFFICERS, BOARD AND COMMISSION <br /> MEMBERS AND EMPLOYEES OF THE TOWN OF MOORESVILLE <br /> WHEREAS, the Town Council for the Town of Mooresville is <br /> 411 responsible for setting the compensation for its elected <br /> officials, officers, Board and Commission members and employees; <br /> WHEREAS, changes in the compensation are necessary from time <br /> to time to clarify the specific compensation being paid; <br /> BE IT HEREBY ORDAINED that the following Amendments to <br /> Ordinance 12 , 2011 are approved and only amend those items <br /> specifically set out below as follows : <br /> SECTION I. MOORESVILLE POLICE DEPARTMENT <br /> All Police Officers shall receive as a benefit paid by the Town <br /> for the 1977 Pension Plan 19 . 7% of their salary. <br /> SECTION II. FIRE DEPARTMENT <br /> All Firefighters shall receive as a benefit paid by the Town for <br /> the 1977 Pension Plan 19 . 7% of their salary. <br /> SECTION IV. TOWN ADMINISTRATIVE <br /> The position of Probationary Part-Time Clerk shall be changed to <br /> "Probationary Part-Time Billing Clerk" with a probationary time <br /> period of three (3) months . <br /> The Part-Time Billing Clerk salary is $12 . 75 per hour after three <br /> (3) months . <br /> The Clerk-Treasurer and the Full-Time Clerks shall receive a <br /> benefit of 14 . 5% of their salary paid by the Town to PERF. <br /> The Town Attorney shall be paid pursuant to a Contract for <br /> Employment of Attorney to be entered into on December 20 , 2011 . <br /> SECTION VI. STORMWATER DEPARTMENT <br /> The Stormwater Inspector' s salary shall be $36, 500 . 00 per year <br /> .� with no overtime . <br />
