Board of Zoning Appeals <br /> Minutes <br /> Thursday May 9th, 2013 <br /> Members Present: Neal Allman, Mike Young, Perry King, town attorney <br /> Tim Currens. Alan Kramer was not in attendance. <br /> Chairman Neal Altman called the meeting to order, he called for a motion on <br /> the previous meetings minutes. Mike Young made a motion to pass the <br /> minutes, minutes passed. <br /> Chairman Allman asked that the Allen family address the board regarding <br /> their variance request for a garage at 219 W. Greencastle Rd, variance <br /> request being that the garage would sit within 13' of the property line. <br /> Robert Allen stated that he and his family had a previous larger resident and <br /> were in a lack of storage situation, a garage was a needed asset to his <br /> property. Mike Young, of the board, mentioned he had recently driven the <br /> neighborhood in question and had seen several garages and that other than <br /> property line location this was not an uncommon site on Greencastle Rd. <br /> Chairman Allman asked for any questions from the board and or audience, <br /> none were asked. Chairman Allman called for a motion. Mike Young made <br /> a motion to pass the variance, variance passed unopposed. <br /> Chairman Allman welcomed new board member Perry King to the Board of <br /> Zoning Appeals, during new business. <br /> Mike Young made a motion to adjourn, motion carried 3 — 0. <br /> hairman <br /> ..neL -/-P>;/4:::e4t <br /> Secretary t, <br />
