MOORESVILLE PLAN COMMISSION <br /> MINUTES <br /> THURSDAY, JANUARY 24, 2013 <br /> The Mooresville Plan Commission met in regular session on Thursday January 24, 2013 <br /> at 6:00 p.m. at the Mooresville Government Center. <br /> Commissioners present were: Chairman Mike Young, Commissioners Brian Anderson, <br /> Bill Colbert, Jeff Dieterlen, Perry King and Brian Moore. Commissioners Darrell Brown <br /> and Beverly Viles were absent. Town Attorney, Tim Currens was also present. <br /> A motion to approve the minutes of the December 13, 2012 meeting was made by <br /> Commissioner King and was second by Commissioner Dieterlen. Motion carried 6-0. <br /> Brian Anderson was appointed as secretary to sign the minutes in Darrell Brown's <br /> absence. <br /> John Larrison, representing Holloway Engineering was present seeking final plat <br /> approval for sections 19 and 20 at Bridgemor Village. Building number 24 is a single <br /> unit located at the northeast corner and building 41 is a quad located in the southeast <br /> corner, Both buildings are as previously approved in the overall PUD plan. John <br /> Larrison noted that the date on the plat was incorrectly listed as 2012 and would be <br /> corrected. <br /> There being no questions from the audience or the commission members, a motion to <br /> approve both the single unit and the four-plex PUD for sections 19 and 20 of Bridgemor <br /> Village was made by Commissioner Colbert, second by Commissioner King and carried <br /> 6-0. <br /> The next item was the election of officers. A motion to retain Mike Young as Chairman <br /> was made by Commissioner King and second by Commissioner Dieterlen. Motion <br /> carried 5-0, with Chairman Young abstaining. Chairman Young made a motion to make <br /> Jeff Dieterlen Vice Chairman, replacing Ann Whaley who moved out of the area. Motion <br /> was second by Commissioner Colbert and carried 5-0, with Commissioner Dieterlen <br /> abstaining. A motion was made by Commissioner Anderson to retain Darrell Brown as <br /> secretary. Motion was second by Chairman Young and carried 6-0. <br /> Attorney, Tim Currens stated that the Plan Commission needed to appoint a member to <br /> serve on the Board of Zoning Appeals. Chairman, Mike Young is currently serving in <br /> that position. A motion to appoint Mike Young to continue serving on the Board of <br /> Zoning Appeals was made by Commissioner Colbert, second by Commissioner <br /> Dieterlen. Motion carried 5-0, with Chairman Young abstaining. <br /> Building Inspector, Dennis Nail reported 15 permits and 32 inspections. He presented <br /> the Commission with the revised building permit forms that can be printed and numbered <br /> by the building department. Commissioner Dieterlen asked if they are currently keeping <br />
