MINUTES OF THE MOORESVILLE
BOARD OF ZONING APPEALS

The Mooresville Board of Zoning Appeals met at its regularly
scheduled meeting place, the Town Hall, on Wednesday, April 20,
1989, at 7:00 P.M. Present were Board members Robert Tucker, Don
Barry, Vern Kimmel, A1 Kramer, and Steve Oschman. The Board's
attorney, Timothy C. Currens, was also present. Chairman Tucker
determined that a quorum was present and proceeded to the approval
of the minutes and findings of fact of the meeting of March 15,
1989.

The first item on the agenda was the special exception
request of Marlena Newcomb at 117 East South Street, Mooresville,
Indiana. The Board advised that this matter would be recommended
to the Mooresville Plan Commission to review at its meeting of
April 27, 1989, at 7:30 P.M., at the Town Hall. The Board also
advised that the next meeting of the Board of Zoning Appeals would
be May 17, 1989, and if the Plan Commision made a recommendation
at its meeting, this would be discussed at the May meeting.

The next item to come before the Board was the request for a
variance from the subdivision control ordinance and the develop-
ment standards for minimum lot width. The Board's attorney
advised that the notices were in order and Mr. Jacobs proceeded to
explain his request. In particular, Mr. Jacobs advised that he
was the owner of 4.16 acres which fronted on Allison Road.
He advised that the purpose of the variance was to sell off 1.12
acres with a house on it, with the intent to build an additional
