MINUTES OF THE MOORESVILLE <br /> <br />BOARD OF ZONING APPEALS <br /> <br /> The Mooresville Board of Zoning Appeals met at its regular <br />scheduled meeting place, the Town Hall, on Wednesday, the 19th day <br /> <br />of October, 1988, at 7:00 P.M. Present were Board members: Don <br /> <br />Barry, Tilford Bailey, Warren Franklin and Robert Tucker. <br />The Board's attorney, Timothy C. Currens, was also present. <br /> <br />The Board approved the Minutes and Findings of Fact of the prior <br />meeting. <br /> <br /> The first item on the agenda was the Special Exception <br />request of Steven and Teresa J. Beasley. The Board's attorney <br />advised that the Plan Commission had investigated this Special <br />Exception and returned a finding that the proposed location and <br />character of the Special Exception would not adversely affect the <br />Master Land Use Plan. Vice Chairman Barry then proceeded to a <br />hearing on the petition. The Beasleys were not present so the <br />Vice Chairman opened the meeting up to questions from the floor. <br />Steve Harris, adjoining property owner, reiterated that they had <br />filed a petition signed by property owners in the area that was <br />against the proposed Special Exception. He also introduced <br />appraisals on the Kenworthy property, showing that a mobile home <br />would have an adverse financial effect on the property. He had <br />other adjoining property owners present to raise their hands to <br />show their support against the proposed Special Exception, the <br />remonstrators numbered sixteen. Steve Kenworthy, adjoining <br />property owner, stated that the mobile home could be a permanent <br /> <br /> <br />
