were asking for a variance from the development standards for the <br />setbacks on the east side lot line from 12 feet to 3.6 feet and 12 <br />feet to 6.6 feet in the other area, along with the front setback <br />from 60 feet to 31.5 feet. George E. Carlisle was present, along <br /> <br />with his son, Sam Carlisle, <br />were found to be in order. <br />remonstrators were present. <br /> <br />and Attorney Dave Lawson. Notices <br />Out of thirty-seven notices, no <br /> <br /> Attorney Lawson showed a drawing of <br /> <br />the proposed expansion and explained the request. The site <br />drawing showed the lay of the land and reasons for the proposed <br />variance. There being no questions from the floor, the Board <br />proceeded to its finding of fact under the expansion of the <br />Special Use. The Board found that: <br /> <br /> 1. The establishment, maintenance, and operation of the <br />Special Exception would not be detrimental to or endanger the <br />public health, safety, morals or general welfare, due to the <br />property sitting up on a hill and being away from other <br />residential uses sufficiently to buffer any problem. <br /> <br /> 2. That the Special Exception would not be injurious to the <br />use and enjoyment of other properties in the immediate vicinity <br />for the purposes already permitted due to the lay of the ground. <br /> <br /> 3. That the establishment of the Special Exception would not <br />impede or substantially alter the normal and orderly development <br />and improvement of surrounding property for uses permitted in the <br /> <br />district <br /> <br />years. <br /> <br /> 4. <br /> <br />necessary facilities <br /> <br />since this use has been a continued use for several <br /> <br />That adequate utilities, access roads, drainage and other <br /> have been or are being provided by the Town <br /> <br />-6- <br /> <br /> <br />
