MINUTES OF THE MOORESVILLE BOARD OF ZONING APPEALS

The Mooresville Board of Zoning Appeals met at its regularly scheduled
meeting the 19th day of June, 1985 at the Mooresville Town Hall. Present were
Chairman Steve Oschman, Paul Walters, Wendell Thaler, Tilford Bailey, and Warren
Franklin. The Board's Attorney, Timothy C. Currens, was also present. Chairman
Oschman determined that there was a quorum present and opened the meeting. Minutes
of the prior meeting were approved as read.

The first item to come before the Board was Case No. 6-1985, an application
by Ernest E. and Joyce M. Zielska, requesting a variance for a 14 foot by 70 foot
mobile home and storage shed on the property located at 330 West Main Street,
Mooresville, Indiana, in the rear of the property. Zielskas were present in
person and by counsel, Sa~ael Korn. Notices were found to be in order and
Attorney Korn proceeded to present the petition. He advised that the Zielska's
lot was 80 foot by 415 foot and the mobile home would be in the last 100 foot
section of the property which had sewer connection on the east and west sides.
Paul Walters then asked where the nearest home would be. Attorney Korn advised
that the trailer would run north and south and not east and west to place it
further away from the neighbors.

Steve Oschman then opened up the meeting to the floor for questions and
statements from remonstrators. Carol Wewe of 30 Commerce Drive stated that
she was a friend and neighbor with the Zielskas but felt that the mobile home
would take approximately $10,000.00 off her property value. She advised that

an appraiser at her place of employment had advised her of this. For this

reason she said she was definitely against the variance sought.

The next person to speak was Oral Haught, who resides at 50 Commerce
Drive. He presented a petition and stated that he was speaking for all the
parties on exhibit marked "A" for the remonstrators. He felt that if the area
was opened up to one mobile home then additional ones would come in and the
