x.13€ <br /> April 15, 2014 <br /> The Mooresville Town Council met on Tuesday,April 15,2014 at 6:30 P. M.at the Mooresville <br /> Government Center. <br /> Members present: President Mark Mathis,Vice-President Virginia Perry,Tony Langley,Jeff Cook,and <br /> George Watkins. No members were absent. Town attorney Tim Currens was present. <br /> Councilman Watkins gave the prayer. <br /> A motion was made by Councilwoman Virginia Perry with a second by Councilman Watkins to approve <br /> the minutes of April 1,2014 to Councilman Langley making the motion for approval of claims. Motion <br /> carried 5-0. <br /> Chelsey Manns-SB-1 for Mt. Olive-an expansion of 5 new jobs and to add on 4400 square feet to facility <br /> and parking lot. A motion was made by Councilman Watkins with a second by Councilwoman Perry to <br /> approve Declaratory Resolution 3,2014 for abatement. Motion carried 4-0-1. Councilman Langley <br /> abstained. <br /> A motion was made by Councilman Watkins with a second by Councilman Langley to approve the Edit <br /> Plan for 2014. <br /> Chelsey Manns, Morgan County EDC Director presented an SB-1 for Mt. Olive for abatement. A motion <br /> was made by Councilman Watkins with a second by Councilman Cook to approve Declaratory Resolution <br /> #3, 2014. Motion carried 4-0-1. Councilman Langley abstained. <br /> Another SB-1 came before the council from TOA, USA. A three phase project to begin in 2014 with 72 <br /> million dollars in equipment and 220 new jobs and 43 million dollars in personal property. This totaled a <br /> 33 on the matrix for 10 year abatement on real and personal property. A motion was made by <br /> Councilwoman Perry with a second by Councilman Watkins to approve Declaratory'Resolution#4,2014 <br /> for real property abatement. Motion carried 5-0. <br /> A motion was made to approve Declaratory Resolution#5, 2014 for personal property for the TOA <br /> project by Councilman Watkins with a second by Councilwoman Perry. Motion carried 5-0. <br /> CF-1's:A motion was made by Councilman Watkins with a second by Councilman Cook to approve CF-1 <br /> for Mt. Olive, Resolution 2008 for personal property, exceeded expectations. Motion approved 4-0-1 <br /> with Councilman Langley abstaining. <br /> A motion was made by Councilman Watkins with.a second by Councilman Cook to approve CF-1 for Mt. <br /> Olive, Resolution 4, 2010, personal property,exceeded expectations. Motion carried 4-0-1. Councilman <br /> Langley abstained. <br /> A motion was made by Councilman Watkins with a second by Councilman Cook to approve CF-1 for Mt. <br /> Olive personal property, Resolution 6,2010. Exceeded expectations. Motion carried 4-0-1. Councilman <br /> Langley abstained. <br /> A motion was made by Councilman Watkihswith a second by Councilman Cook to approve CF-1 for Mt. <br /> Olive, Resolution 14,2010, personal property,exceeded expectations. Motion carried 4-0-1. <br /> Councilman Langley abstained. <br /> A motion was made by Councilman Watkins with a second by Councilwoman Perry to approve CF-1 for <br /> Overton Sons Tool and Die, resolution 9,2003, personal property,exceeded expectations. Motion <br /> carried 5-0. <br /> A motion was made by Councilman Watkins with a second by Councilman Cook to approve CF-1 for <br /> Overton Sons Tool and Die, Resolution 14,2010 for dual purpose machining center. Motion carried 5-0. <br /> A motion was made by Councilman Watkins with a second by Councilwoman Perry for Cornerstone, <br /> Resolution 9, 2011, medical office building,exceeded expectations. Motion carried 5-0. <br /> HNTB: Council President Mark Mathis stated he had not received any information yet on the change <br /> order and pay request. <br /> Council President Mathis set a Special Meeting on Tuesday,April 29th for Confirmatory Resolutions for <br /> Mt.Olive and TOA at 6:30 P. M. <br />
