1126 <br /> Council President Mathis appointed Mark Meadows, a School Board member to sit on <br /> the Redevelopment Commission as a non-voting member per statute. <br /> A motion was made by Councilwoman Perry with a second by Councilman Langley to <br /> retain Rhonda Clair on the Park Board. Motion carried 5-0. <br /> A motion was made by Councilman Langley with a second by Councilwoman Perry to <br /> retain Larry Bryant on the Police Commission for three years. Motion carried 5-0. <br /> A motion was made by Councilman Langley with a second by Councilman Cook to <br /> appoint Mark Mathis and George Watkins to remain on the Morgan County Economic <br /> Development Board. Motion carried 5-0. <br /> A motion was made by Councilman Langley with a second by Councilman Cook to <br /> appoint Bill Colbert to the Mooresville Plan Commission for another term. Motion <br /> carried 5-0. <br /> A motion was made by Councilman Watkins with a second by Councilwoman Perry to <br /> appoint Brian Anderson to another term on the Plan Commission. Motion carried 5-0. <br /> Unfinished business: A motion was made by Councilman Watkins with a second by <br /> Councilman Langley to approve Ordinance 1,2014 to amend Ordinance 7,2013, Salary <br /> Ordinance to show Perf for civilians at 14.2%,part time communication officer at 12.02 <br /> per hour,and those employees exempt from Fair Labor Standards Act one hour of <br /> compensation in lieu of overtime,for every hour worked over 40 hours per week. Motion <br /> carried 5-0. <br /> • <br /> A motion was made by Councilman Langley with a second by Councilman Watkins to <br /> approve claims for January 21,2014 in the amount of$411,275.63. Motion carried 5-0. <br /> A motion was made by Councilman Langley with a second by Councilman Watkins to — <br /> approve claims for January 7, 2014 in the amount of$520,612.95.
