MINUTES OF MOORESVILLE BOARD OF ZONING APPEALS

The Mooresville Board of Zoning Appeals met at a specially called session

on Wednesday, the 13th day of July, 1983 at 7:00 o'clock P.M. at the Mooresville
Town Hall. Present were Board Members Steve Oschman, Warren Franklin, Paul Walters,
Wendell Thaler, and Ray House. The Board's Attorney, Timothy C. Currens was also
present. The meeting was called to order by Chairman Steve Oschman and minutes of
last meeting were approved by all members. There was a determination of a quorum
and the Board proceeded to the first item of business which was Case Number 3-1983
filed by the Mooresville Church of God requesting a variance to establish set back
lines on the south and east sides of Lot Number 4 at 218 East Main Street, Mooresville,
Indiana in particular requesting a 20 foot set back in the front which faces Main
Street and a 5 foot set back off of the east side of the alley running adjacent to
the property.

The Board found all notices in proper order and proceeded with a presentation
from the church which was given by Paul Sterrett. A plat plan was shown along with a
picture of the proposed finished section of the addition. Mr. Sterrett explained that
the use of the property was for offices, classrooms and additional needed space
including a fellowship hall. The Board discussed the proposal and requested com~nents
from the floor. There being no remonstrators present Chairman Oschman requested a
motion for the Board. Wendell then proceeded to make the following findings:

1. That there are exceptional and extraordinary
circumstances or conditions applicable to the
property of the petitioners and to the intended
use that does not apply generally to the other
property or class of use in the same vicinity
and in the district in which it is located.
