<br />h. All Police Reserves must follow all Department Rules and Regulations, <br /> <br />Policies and Standard Operating Procedures; <br /> <br /> <br />i. All Police Reserves shall be under the direct supervision of the Chief of <br /> <br /> <br />Police or any other Officer falling within the chain of command as designated by <br /> <br /> <br />the Chief of Police; <br /> <br /> <br />j. All Police Reserves shall be subject to dismissal by the Chief of Police <br /> <br /> <br />of the Town of Mooresville; <br /> <br /> <br />k. Probationary Reserve Officers shall not perform patrol functions with <br /> <br />other Probationary Officers; <br /> <br />I. Probationary Reserve Officers shall not have civilian riders; <br /> <br />m. Reserve Officers shall not receive any compensation while utilizing the <br /> <br />Town of Mooresville Police Department property or uniforms other than that <br /> <br />permitted through the Mooresville Chief of Police; <br />n. Reserve Officers will be required to complete the firearms training <br /> <br />course (including the use of force training) and emergency vehicle operations <br /> <br />course before being released to patrol on their own; and, <br /> <br />o. A Reserve Officer's authority is limited by the training received to date. <br /> <br />Reserve Officers will be required to complete the Field Training Program within <br /> <br />the first probationary year in order to be eligible for final appointment and being <br />taken off probation. <br /> <br />3 <br />
