ORDINANCE NO. S , 1988 AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING A FOUR-WAY STOP BE IT ORDAINED, by the Board of Trustees of the Civil Town of Mooresville, Indiana, that: BY THE POWERS VESTED IN THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES of the Civil Town of Mooresville, Indiana, pursuant to Indiana Code, it is hereby ORDERED AND ORDAINED that: WHEREAS, it is necessary to control the flow of traffic in the Civil Town of Mooresville, Indiana; WHEREAS, it is necesary to protect the health, safety and well-being of the residents of the Civil Town of Mooresville; Section I IT IS HEREBY ORDERED AND ORDAINED that a four-way stop be posted at the alley intersection of Blocks 35, 34, 50, and 51 of the original plat of the Civil Town of Mooresville, Indiana, said alleys being located between South Street and High Street and the second alley intersection east of Indiana Street between High and South and between Indiana Street and the Penn Central Railroad, with said intersection to be marked on all four corners with stop s~gns. Section II That the Town Marshal or the street superintendent or any other person designated by the Board of Trustees shall post, or cause to be posted, the appropriate stop signs at said intersection. Section III That violation of of this ordinance shall be cited by the Town Marshal or a Deputy Town Marshal into the Town Court of Mooresville as a violation of this Ordinance and shall be punishable by a fine of not less than Five Dollars ($5.00) nor ~ more than One Hundred Dollars ($100.00). That an emergency exists necessitating that the ordinance contained herein shall be effective immediately, and that the Clerk-Treasurer shall have a copy of said Ordinance published in the newspaper to notify the citizens of the Town of Mooresville of the existence of said ordinance.
