ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 17-1984, AN ORDINANCE VACATING PART OF HARRISON STREET, MOORESVILLE, INDIANA The Town Board of Trustees of the Civil Town of Mooresvil]e now finds the following: ThAt on the 6th day of November, 1984, the Town 130ard passed an ordinance vacating part of Harrison Street, Mooresville, Indiana, which was duly recorded in the Office of the Recorder of Morgan County in Misc. Record 87 Page 382 through 384. That the Town Board finds that the description of the division of property as recorded was in error in that the plat of Harrison Street showed that Lots 1 through 4 in Block 17 of Moore's Second Addition to the TO'oln of Mooresvi lIe were deeded to the Civil Town of Mooresville thereby causing that portion of vacated lIarrison Street adj acent to said Lot 4 to be erronously vacated to and in favor of the Civil Town of "Hooresville, ,-¡hen in fact the owner of said lot was in fact one Ruth Allen. That the ownership of Ruth Allen in said Lot 4 is documented and recorderl in l1eed Recorrl 223 Page 228 in the Office of the Recorder of Morgan County, Indiana. That Ordinance No. 17-1984 should be amended to reflect that Ruth Allen was the proper owner of said Lot 4 in Block 17 of Moore's Second Addition to the Town of Mooresville and that portion of Harrison Street vacated to and in favor of Lot 4 is described as follows: Starting at a point 257.5 feet east of the southeast corner of Franklin Street and East Harrison Street and going due east 80 feet 6 inches thence north 30 feet, thence west 80 feet 6 inches, thence south 30 feet to the point of beginning. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Town Board of Trustees of the Civil Town of Mooresville, Indiana, that: The following described property vacated under Ordinance No. 17-1984 in favor of property owned by the Civil Town of Mooresville is amended to reflect that said vacation is in favor of Ruth Allen, the then rightful owner of said Lot 4 in Block 17 of Moore's Second Addition to the Town of Mooresville: Starting at a point on the southeast corner of Franklin Street and East Harrison Street 'and going due east 257.5 feet, thence north 30 feet, thence west 338 feet, thence south 30 feet to the point of beginning.
