I . ORDINANCE NO. :3 , 1984 ') AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING A NO PARKING AREA ON THE SOUTH RIGHT-OF-WAY OF WASHINGTON STREET FOR A DISTANCE OF 60 FEET WEST OF THE INTERSECTION OF WASHINGTON STREET WITH MAPLE LANE IN THE TOWN OF MOORESVILLE, INDIANA. BE IT ORDAINED, by the Board of Trustees of the Civil Town of Mooresville, Indiana by the acts of the General Assembly of the State of Indiana, it is hereby ORDERED AND ORDAINED that whereas it is necessary to control the flow of traffic in the Town of Mooresville, Indiana, on Washington Street by establishing a no parking zone on and along the South right-of-way of Washington Street, beginning at a point on the Southwest corner of the intersection of Washington Street and Maple Lane and thence running 60 feet on and along the South right-of-way of Washington Street, it is hereby ORDERED AND ORDAINED that an ordinance be adopted prohibiting parking on and along said designated area at all times. SECTION I BE IT HEREBY ORDERED for the control of traffic on the South right-of-way of Washington Street, beginning at a point on the Southwest corner of the intersection of Washington Street and Maple Lane, thence running 60 feet West on and along the South right-of-way of Washington Street, be, and hereby is, established as a "No Parking Zone", and that no parking shall be permitted at any time at and along said designated area. SECTION II The Town Marshal, or any other person designated by the Board of Trustees of the Town of Mooresville, shall post or cause to be posted signs at the aforesaid no J- parking areas designating such areas as a IINo Parking Zone 11. SECTION III Be it further ordained by the Board of Trustees of the Civil Town of Mooresville, Morgan County, Indiana, that the Mooresville Town Marshal or any Deputy Marshal of the Civil Town of Mooresvil1e, Indiana is hereby authorized to tow away, or have removed and towed away by commercial towing service, any motor vehicle illegally parked in the above designated areas on the rights-of-way of the streets described in Section I. That any such vehicle towed away for violating the provisions of this Ordinance, shall be towed to a place of safe storage and shall not be returned to the owner of such motor vehicle, until such time as the owner pays a reasonable commercial towing charge, and storage expense, if any, as may be determined under the circumstances; and in addition thereto, such owner of said vehicle shall pay such fines as shall be assessed for the parking violation as provided in Section IV.
