<br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 21 1981, A SPECIAL ORDINANCE ANNEXING
<br />CONTIGUOUS TERRITORY TO THE TOWN OF MOORESVILLE, MORGAN COUNTY, INDI

<br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Trustees of the Civil Town of Mooresville,
<br />
<br />Morgan County, Indiana, that:

<br />By the powers vested in the Board of Trustees of the Civil Town of Mooresvile,
<br />
<br />Morgan County, Indiana, by the laws of the State of Indiana (Acts 1980, Public Law
<br />

<br />212, Section 3 Amended by Acts 1981, Public Law 308, Section 2), being Indiana
<br />
<br />Code 36-4-3-3, it is hereby ORDERED AND ORDAINED that the following tract of real
<br />
<br />estate, which is contiguous territory to the Civil Town of Mooresville, having in
<br />
<br />excess of 1/8th of the aggregate external boundaries of the territory coinciding
<br />
<br />with the boundaries of the Civil Town of Mooresville with said contiguous strip of
<br />
<br />land being in excess of 150 feet wide at the point of connection to the Civil Town
<br />
<br />of Mooresvil1e, and which real estate is presently receiving governmental and
<br />
<br />proprietary services, substantially equivalent in standard scope to the governmental
<br />
<br />and proprietary services furnished by the Civil Town of Mooresville, Indiana, to
<br />
<br />other areas of the town, now presently incorporated within the town limits, are
<br />
<br />hereby annexed in the Civil Town of Nooresville, Morgan County, Indiana, said real
<br />
<br />estate being all situated in Morgan County, State of Indiana, to-wit:
<br />
<br />Part of the Southwest Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of Section
<br />36, T14N, RIE of the Second Principal Meridian, Morgan County,
<br />Indiana, bounded and described as follows, to-wit:
<br />
<br />Beginning on the North line of the said Quarter-Quarter Section
<br />640.50 feet East of the Northwest corner of said Quarter-Quarter;
<br />continue thence S 89°56' East on the North line of said Quarter-
<br />Quarter Section a distance of 490 feet; thence South parallel to
<br />the East line of said Quarter-Quarter a distance of 123 feet; thence
<br />East parallel to the East line of said Quarter-Quarter a distance
<br />of 210 feet to the East line of said Quarter-Quarter; thence South
<br />along and upon the East line of said Quarter-Quarter Section a
<br />distance of 177 feet; thence West and parallel to the North line of
<br />said Quarter-Quarter a distance of 700 feet; thence North parallel
<br />Atothe East line of said Quarter-Quarter section 300 feet to the
<br />. ace of beginning, containing 4.228 acres, more or less, and
<br />subject to the existing sewer and highway easements of record.
