<br />AN ORDINANCE REGULATING HAINTENANCE, REPAIR, CUTTING,

<br />PUBLIC STREETS, ALLEYS, CURBS, SIDE\VALKS AND ALL
<br />OTHER PUBLICWAYS WITHIN THE CIVIL TOWN OF HOORES-
<br />VILLE, INDIANA

<br />
<br />ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING POSTING OF SURETY BOND PRIOR
<br />TO ANY HAINTENANCE, REPAIR, ClITTING, CONSTURCTION,
<br />RECONSTRUCTION OR ALTERATION OF ANY PUBLIC STREET,
<br />ALLEY, CURBS, SIDEWALKS AND ALL OTHER PUBLIC WAYS
<br />WITHIN THE CIVIL TOWN OF HOORESVILE, IDN I ANA ,
<br />
<br />PART I
<br />
<br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Trustees of the Civil Town
<br />
<br />of Nooresville, Horgan County, Indiana, that:
<br />
<br />Sect ion I
<br />
<br />All maintenance, repair, alteration, cutting of, construc-
<br />
<br />tion and reconstruction of public streets, alleys, curbs, sidewalks
<br />
<br />and all other public ways, shall be under the supervision of the
<br />
<br />Board of Trustees of the Civil Town of Hooresville, Indiana, and/or
<br />
<br />its duly constituted agent, the Hooresville Street Superintendent,
<br />Sect ion 2
<br />
<br />It shall be unlawful to cut, construct, reconstruct, or
<br />
<br />lay any pavement on any public street, alley, curb, sidewalk or
<br />
<br />other public way, or to repair the same, or alter the same, without
<br />
<br />having first secured a permit therefor,
<br />
<br />Applications for such permits shall be made to the Clerk
<br />of the Civil Town of Hooresville. No such permits shall be issued
<br />except where the work will conform to the specifications of the Board
<br />of Trustees of the Town of Hooresville,
<br />
<br />Section 3
<br />
<br />All such construction, cutting of, reconstruction, repairs
<br />
<br />or alterations of such public ways shall be made and conform with
<br />
<br />the specifications laid down or approved from time to time by the
<br />
<br />Board of Trustees of the Town of Hooresville, Indiana,
<br />
<br />(a) Specifications:
<br />
<br />(I) Granular fill to be used within eighteen (18)
<br />
<br />inches of top;
<br />(2) Fill to grade level with number 53 crushed stone,
<br />
