I , .' -'.-, ORDINANCE NO, /D 1979 ---- An Ordinance of the Town of Mooresville, Indiana appropriating the sum of One Hundred Fifty Thou- sand Dollars ($150,000.00) to be applied on the cost of construction of a project to widen South Indiana Street to provide a roadway for four (4) lane vehicular traffic from the intersection of South Street and South Indiana Street, south to the intersection of South Indiana Street and State Road #67 for the Town and on account of the issuance of bonds therefor. WHEREAS, the Board of Trustees of the Town of Mooresville, Indiana, finds that a necessity exists for the construction, re- construction and widening of South Indiana Street to provide a roadway for four (4) lane vehicular traffic from the interesection of South Street and South Indiana Street, south to the intersec- tion of South Indiana Street and State Road #67 for the Town, and that there has heretofore been filed with the Board a Petition signed by owners of taxable real estate located in the Town re- questing that bonds of the Town be issued in an amount not exceed- ing One Hundred Fifty-Thousand Dollars ($150,000.00) for the pur- pose of providing funds to be applied on the cost of construction of the project which is set forth above for the Town. which Peti- tion the Board of Trustees has heretofore found to be in due form of law and caused notice of filing of said Petition to be given as provided by I,C. 6-1.1-20-4, Burns Statutes, 19'8 Replacement; and WHEREAS, the Town of Mooresville does not now have on hand funds unappropriated for any other purpose or provided for in the existing budget sufficient to provide for the entire cost of con- struction of said project for the Town, and the Board has hereto- fore provided for the issuance of bonds of the Town in the amount of One Hundred Fifty Thousand Dollars ($150,000,00) in order to procure funds for such purpose; and I f ¡
