AN ORDIliANCE ANNEXIlI'G CERTAIN COIfTIGUOUS TERRITORY TO THE TOWN OF MOORESVILIE WHEREAS, the territory hereinafter described is contiguous to the Town of Mooresville, but presently lies outside of said town in Brown TownshiP# Morgan Count,., Indiana; and WHEREAS, it is to the best interest of the Town and of the territor,. hereinafter described, that the same be annexed, that said area 18 urban in character and is an economic and social I part of the Town of Mooresville, that the Town of Mooresville is finanoially able to provide municipal services to the annexed area within the reasonably near future, that the area hereinafter described is needed for the development of the Town of Hoores- ville 1n the reasonably near future, and that the territory here- inafter described is contiguous to the Town of Mooresville and the lines of annexation are so drawn as to form a compact area abutting said Town; now, therefore, ~ r ì 'I 1L BE IT ORDAINED by the Board 01' Trustees of the Town of Hooresville, Horgan Count,., Indiana, that: Section 1. The following desoribed real estate located in Brown Township, Horgan County, Iniiana, to-wit: A part of the East half of the Southwest quarter of Section 25, Township 11/ North, Range 1 Eas t, described as follows, to-wit: Begim.1ng at a point 3$7 feet North of the South line and 1140 feet West of the East line of said half quarter, which point is the northeas t corner 01' Lot Number 54. in Hadley's Second Addition to the Town of Mooresville, thence North parallel with the East line of said half quarter section 40 feet; thance West to the West line of said half ~arter section; thence South with said West line 40 feet; thence East 180 feet to the place of beginning, containing .16 of an acre, more or less.
