<br />AN ORDINANCE DEFINING THE ,IdTIRE CORPORATE BOUNDARY
<br />OF THE TOWN OF MOORESVILLE AND ANNEXING ALL TERRI-
<br />TORY WITHIN SAID BOUNDARY NOT NOW A PART OF SAID
<br />TOWN OF MOORESVILLE, WhETHEA PLATTED OR UNPLATTED
<br />AND CONTIGUOUS TO THE PRESENT CORPORATE LIMITS OF
<br />SAID TOWN AND PROVIDING FOR NOTIOE.
<br />SECTION I
<br />Be It Ordained by the Board of Trustees of the 'Down of Mooresville,
<br />that because of doubt and uncertainty as to the present boundaries of
<br />said Town of Mooresville and the problems involved in the transfer of
<br />real estate and the difficulties in making assessments of properties
<br />for taxation, because said boundaries are indefinite and uncertain,
<br />that the entire corporate boundaries of said town be declared and de-
<br />fined as follows:

<br />Part of the south half of the southeast quarter of section twenty -
<br />six (26), and part of the south half of section twenty -five (25), and
<br />all of the northwest quarter of section thirty -six, and part of the north-
<br />east quarter section thirty -six (36), and part of the north half of the
<br />south half of section thirty -six (36), and part of the northeast quarter
<br />section thirty -five (35), and part of the north half of the southeast
<br />quarter section thirty -five (35), all in township fourteen (14) north,
<br />range one (1) east of the Second Principal Meridian, bounded and describ-
<br />ed as follows, to -wit:
<br />Beginning at a corner post that is three hundred twenty nine (329.0), -`
<br />feet north of a stone that is common to sections twenty -six (26), twenty-
<br />five (25), thirty -six (36), and thirty -five (35), township and range
<br />aforesaid, run thence easterly a distance of thirteen hundred thirty eight "
<br />and five- tenths (1338.5) feet to a point in the east line of the west half
<br />of the southwest quarter of section twenty -five (25), and three hundred
<br />thirty four (334.0) feet north of the south line of section twenty -five (2,
<br />run thence northerly on the east line of said half quarter a distance of
<br />nine hundred twenty eight (928.0) feet to a point that is thirty eight
<br />(38.0) feet north of the north line of the property now owned by the
<br />r„ Christian Church; run thence easterly and parallel to the north line of
<br />the Christian[hurch property a distance of three hundred sixty one and
<br />four- tenths (361.4) feet to a point that is thirty eight (38.0) feet north
<br />of the northeast corner of said Christian Church property; run thence
<br />southerly on the east line of theC Kristian Church property a distance of
<br />three hundred sixty eight (368.0) feet to a point in the north line of
<br />HALTOM STREET which is also the north line of Hadley's Third Addition to
<br />the down of Mooresville; run thence easterly on the north line of HALTOM
<br />STREET a distance of one hundred eighty six (186.0) feet to the northeast
<br />corner of Hadley's Third Addition; deflect one (1) degree and forty -six
<br />(46) minutes left and run northeasterly a distance of seven hundred aevemt'
<br />five and five- tenths (775.5) feet to the northwest corner of Reagan's Ad-
<br />dition to the 'Town of Mooresville which is also the northwest corner of
<br />ST. CLAIR STREET; run thence easterly on the north line of ST. CLAIR
