MINUTES FOR THE MOORESVILLE BOARD OF ZONING APPEALS

The Mooresville Board of Zoning Appeals met in a specially
called session on Wednesday the 4th day of March, 1981 at 7:00
o'clock P.M. at the Mooresville Town Hall. The following Board
members were present: Paul Walters, Warren Franklin, Wendell Thaler,
Steve Oschman, Ray House, and Nan Kollmeyer. The Board's attorney,
Timothy C. Currens, was also present.

The meeting was called to order by Chairman Paul Walters and
minutes of the last meeting were read and approved. The first order
of business on the agenda was the petition for a variance filed by
John R. and Lorna J. Fulbright who reside at 660 Johnson Road.
Proper notification was verified and Mrs. Fulbright along with her
next door neighbor, Jodi Carter, proceeded to explain the request
set out in the petition for variance. Mrs. Fulbright explained that
they would be using the garage area in their home at 660 Johnson
Road for a stained glass workshop and also for the sale of certain
supplies. In addition they would use the garage for demonstrations,
however no classes. They advised the Board that there was a door
other than the garage door for people to enter and exit by and that
at no time would large numbers of people be using the same. It
was their intent to sell stained glass to decorators and builders
along with the sale of some supplies to individuals.

The Board questioned Mrs. Fulbright in regards to parking,
signs, nature of the business, and knowledge as to whether or not
any neighbors were in disagreement with the same.
