RESOLUTION EXTENDING TIME TO ACCEPT BIDS <br /> WHEREAS, the Town of Mooresville requested Bids on its White <br /> Lick Creek Bank/Sanitary Sewer Protection Project; <br /> WHEREAS, Bids were received December 3, 2013; <br /> WHEREAS, in the Bid Specifications it was stated that no <br /> bidder may withdraw his bid within a period of sixty (60) days <br /> following the set date for the receiving of bids which was <br /> December 3, 2013 and further that the Town reserved the right to <br /> retain any and all Bids for a period of not more than sixty (60) <br /> days at which time all Bids shall remain in full force and <br /> effect; <br /> WHEREAS, certain weather conditions and other issues have <br /> made it necessary to extend the time for the granting of the <br /> Bids; <br /> BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED that the Town of Mooresville extends <br /> the time set out in the Bid Specifications from sixty ( 60) days <br /> to ninety (90) days contingent upon the low bidder acknowledging <br /> and accepting this extension the thirty (30) day extension period <br /> to be approved upon execution by the Town of Mooresville and John <br /> Hall Construction, Inc . <br /> This Resolution approved this 4th day of February, 2014 . <br /> TOWN OF MOORESVILLE <br /> As 'p!ilf"' - - - <br /> ark lathis, . . esident <br /> ATTEST: <br /> Qw r4 . <br /> 5 ndy Per y, Clerk/treasurer <br />
