The Minutes of the Mooresville Metropolitan <br /> Police Department <br /> Police Commissioners Meeting <br /> February 18, 2010 <br /> The meeting was opened with the Pledge of Allegiance. Commissioner Berwick <br /> welcomed everyone to the meeting. Present were Commissioners Berwick, Bryant, Kays, <br /> Chief Timothy C.Viles, Town Attorney Tim Currens and Mr. Jim VanHoy. <br /> Commissioner Kays motioned for January's minutes to be accepted and Commissioner <br /> Bryant seconded. <br /> Statistics —January 2010 <br /> Incident Reports 235 <br /> Arrest Reports 170 •I <br /> Traffic Citations 99 <br /> Traffic Warnings 105 <br /> Accident Reports 22 (all property damage) <br /> Old Business <br /> The Commissioners reviewed and approved the following SOP's: <br /> 9.05 —Vehicle Towing Procedures <br /> 9.06 — Lockouts <br /> 9.07-Towing&Recovery <br /> 9.08 —Vehicle Release <br /> 9.09 —Vehicle Inventory <br /> 9.11 — 322B form <br /> New Business <br /> Jim VanHoy was present to discuss the abandoned vehicle ordinance. Attorney Tim <br /> Currens advised that he had addressed Jim's situation and should have a response j' <br /> shortly.Attorney Currens also stated that a nuisance ordinance, previously brought up <br /> at a Town Board Meeting, will be brought back up again soon. <br /> The next meeting will be held on March 18, 2010 at 6:oo pm. <br />
