Perry asked the Commission that if a rezone was not granted would <br />the matter cease. Virginia Perry commented to the audience and to Ross Holloway that if <br />a rezone was voted favorably other request might still receive a negative vote. Mike <br />Young called for other questions, none were asked he then called for a motion; Jeff <br />Dieterlen made a motion to recommend the rezone to the Town Council, there was no <br />second, attorney Tim Currens stated with no second the motion dies. Ross Holloway <br />reviewed the plans, reminding the Plan Commission members that under current zoning <br />several detrimental options could present themselves. Ross Holloway then asked for a <br />continuance on all matters, for additional time to review the material submitted. Jeff <br />Dieterlen made a motion to continue to the February meeting with no new public notices <br />needed, Virginia Perry seconded the motion and the motion carried 6-0. <br />Dennis Nail reported 35 inspections and 10 permits since the last meeting, he then <br />thanked the Commission for allowing him to represent the town, and Dennis Nail <br />announced that he would be living the Town of Mooresville employment.
