AMENDED ORDINANCE 11, 2015 <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 17, 1988 <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES <br />OF THE CIVIL TOWN OF MOORESVILLE, INDIANA <br />PROVIDING FOR NO PARKING AND STREET CLEANING <br />WHEREAS, the Civil Town of Mooresville provides the service <br />of street cleaning from time to time in order to clear the Town <br />of unsightly appearance created by excess dirt and debris and to <br />provide for the health, safety and general welfare of the <br />citizens of the Civil Town of Mooresville; <br />WHEREAS, to properly provide and perform this service it is <br />necessary to have the streets cleared of all parked vehicles. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the Town Council of the <br />Civil Town of Mooresville, Indiana, as follows: <br />Section 1. No Parking When Signs Are Posted or Other <br />Notification of Street Cleaning is Made. It shall be unlawful <br />for any person to park, stand or fail to remove a vehicle of any <br />kind parked along any street, alley or highway when notification <br />of intent to clean such street is made. <br />Section 2. Time of Notification. At least forty-eight <br />(48) hours shall elapse between the time of notification and the <br />actual street cleaning with the exception of those areas where <br />signs are posted on a permanent basis which shall include Main <br />Street from its intersection with Monroe Street on the West side <br />of town East to the railroad tracks and Indiana Street from <br />
