Bicentennial Park: Attorney Steuerwald presented Resolution 2-2018, which outlined an agreement <br />between the RDC and the Mooresville Parks Department regarding Bicentennial Park (BP). As a part of <br />the Resolution, an MOU was included as Exhibit B. BP will be deeded over to the Parks Department who <br />will then maintain the park. Any substantial changes the Parks Department wishes to make must first <br />come before the RDC for consideration and approval. The Resolution gives the authority to <br />Commissioner Gutzwiller to negotiate the MOU. Commissioner Stultz made the motion to approve <br />Resolution 2-2018 as presented. Commissioner Beikman seconded the motion, which carried 4-0. <br />Old Business: Manns stated Meade Electric was onsite this week working on the wooden pole removal <br />for the south end of Indiana Street. <br />Manns presented two options for consideration for street banners. The options will be voted on by the <br />public and ballots will be made available at the Clerk -Treasurer's office beginning Monday, March 5" <br />through Friday, March 23rd. Additional information regarding the voting will be made available via the <br />Town's Facebook page. <br />New Business: The Annual Report of the Redevelopment Commission Treasurer was emailed to the <br />members previously. It was prepared by Clerk -Treasurer Perry. Commissioner Gutzwiller noted a <br />spelling error on the first page. Commissioner Beikman made the motion to approve the report. <br />Commissioner Stultz seconded the motion, which carried 4-0. <br />Legal Update: No legal update. <br />Economic Development/Projects Update: Manns noted she's spent most of her time preparing for the <br />sale of Southbridge Crossing. <br />Review of Claims: Claims were presented in the amount of $43,667.33. Commissioner Stultz made the <br />motion to approve the claims as presented. Commissioner Boyd seconded the motion, which carried 4- <br />0. <br />For the Good of the Order: Nothing at this time. <br />The next meeting date will be Thursday, April 5, 2018 at 6:00pm. <br />Commissioner Boyd made the motion to adjourn. <br />irman <br />ATTEST: <br />a -seee- <br />Secretary <br />
