Mooresville Metropolitan Police Department Board of Police Commissioners Larry Bryant Brian Wiser Fred Settle MOORESVILLE POLICE COMMISSION MINUTES These are the Minutes of the regularly scheduled meeting of the Mooresville Police Commission held at the Mooresville Police Department on MEMBERS PRESENT: Larry Bryant, Fred Settle, Brian Wiser ALSO PRESENT: Chief Allen, PC Attorney Charles Braun, Amanda Carnell The meeting was called to order at 6:00 PM. The Pledge of Allegiance was given. Fred Settle made a motion to accept the minutes of the February meeting. Brian Wiser seconded. No discussion. Motion passed unanimously. Chief Allen advised the Police Commission on the status of the hiring of the 21St and 22"a officers. Chief Allen advised them that the interviews had been held; two applicants passed the medical exam and the exam into the 1977 Police and Fire Pension. Chief Allen recommended that Robert Mitsch be hired as the 21St officer of the Mooresville Police Department. Fred Settle made a motion to accept the recommendation. Brian Wiser seconded. No discussion. Motion passed unanimously. Chief Allen recommended that Brock Chipman be hired as the 22"d officer of the Mooresville Police Department. Fred Settle made a motion to accept the recommendation. Brian Wiser seconded. No discussion. Motion passed unanimously. Chief Allen advised the Police Commission that he would like to make changes to the current Sop 19.00, the policy that covers the uniforms. Chief Allen and the Police Commission discussed the changes that wanted to be made. Chief Allen advised that he would make the changes and bring a new copy to the April meeting. The next meeting will be held on April 21, 2016 at 6:00 PM at the Mooresville Police Department. THESE MINUTES SO APPROVED ON THIS DAY THE 21 st day of April 2016.
