Old Business: Property Acquisition Update: Executed copies of the PA have been circulated to the <br />members for the Pauley Property. Attorney Steuerwald noted the need to ratify the contract and <br />approve the property acquisition. Commissioner Boyd made the motion to ratify the PA and approve <br />the acquisition. Commissioner Stultz seconded the motion, which carried 3-0. Attorney Steuerwald <br />presented Resolution 2018-9 which deals with the Build Operate Transfer (BOT) Agreement for a shell <br />building onsite. Included is an RFP which is for a developer of the shell building. Commissioner Stultz <br />made the motion to approve Resolution 2018-9 as presented. Commissioner Boyd seconded the <br />motion, which carried 3-0. Manns did note that the terms 'shell building', 'spec building' and <br />'commercial industrial development' are used interchangeably. When mentioning any of those, they are <br />all in reference to the same thing which is a large industrial building for a potential employer. <br />New Business: Commissioner Gutzwiller circulated a letter addressed to the Town Council requesting a <br />$500,000 commitment from Food and Beverage (or other appropriate funds) to be used towards <br />infrastructure development for the Pauley Property. Commissioner Boyd made the motion to move <br />forward with the request and present it to the Town Council at the next meeting. Commissioner Stultz <br />seconded the motion, which carried 3-0. <br />Legal Update: No legal update. <br />Economic Development/Projects Update: No update. <br />Review of Claims: Claims were presented in the amount of $344,591.82. Commissioner Stultz made <br />the motion to approve the claims as presented. Commissioner Boyd seconded the motion. The motion <br />carried 3-0.
