ORDINANCE2 2017 <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE 9, 2016 <br />AN ORDINANCE FIXING THE COMPENSATION OF <br />ELECTED OFFICIALS, OFFICERS, BOARD AND COMMISSIOZ <br />MEMBERS AND EMPLOYEES OF THE TOWN OF MOORESVILLE <br />WHEREAS, the Town Council for the Town of Mooresville is <br />responsible for setting the compensation for its elected <br />officials, officers, Board and Commission members and employees <br />for the year 2017; <br />WHEREAS, Ordinance 9, 2016 did set the compensation for the <br />year 2017; <br />WHEREAS, from time to time it becomes necessary to amend the <br />Town Salary Ordinance; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the Town Council makes the following <br />amendment to Section 'I of Ordinance 9, 2016 and specifically <br />amends only that Section of Ordinance 9, 2016 as follows: <br />The last paragraph of Section I is amended to read: <br />"All Police Officers except the Police Chief shall receive <br />as a benefit paid by the Town for the 1977 Pension Plan <br />17.5% of their salary." <br />This Amendment shall become effective September 9, 2017. <br />MOORESVILLE TOWN COUNCIL <br />G b> <br />Mark NP this, Pre ident <br />Attest: <br />dSandra Perry, Clerk -Tr asurer <br />
