Mooresville Metropolitan <br />Police Department <br />Board of Police Commissioners <br />Larry Bryant <br />Fred Settle <br />Danny Lundy <br />MOORESVILLE POLICE COMMISSION MINUTES <br />These are the Minutes of the regularly scheduled meeting of the Mooresville Police Commission <br />held at the Mooresville Police Department on January 17, 2019. <br />MEMBERS PRESENT: Fred Settle, Danny Lundy <br />ALSO PRESENT: Chief Allen, Charles Braun, Anthony Woodside, Amanda Carnell <br />Call to order at 6:09 PM. <br />Fred Settle made a motion to accept the minutes from the November meeting. Danny Lundy <br />seconded. No discussion. Motion passed unanimously. <br />Chief Allen updated the Police Commission that the five (5) new police cars were in and had <br />been dropped off either at Kenny Johnson's Body Shop or Lt. Roger's residence. <br />Chief Allen updated the Police Commission on the status of the new building, stating that the <br />floors were complete and that Motorola was moving in the racks. Chief Allen stated that the <br />Mooresville Town Board had made a motion to get some money from the RDC. <br />Chief Allen updated the Police Commission that the physical agility and written test for the open <br />police officer positions will be February 2, 2019. <br />Chief Allen updated the Police Commission that the new portable and mobile radios were in and <br />waiting to be programmed. <br />Chief Allen updated that Police Commission on the statistics for the month of December 2018 <br />and the yearend stats for 2018. <br />Chief Allen advised the Police Commission that five (5) new laptops were purchased for the new <br />police cars. Chief Allen advised that the department also purchased ten (10) in -car cameras. <br />Chief Allen advised the Police Commission that he had four (4) officers put in for the open <br />Sergeant positions vacated in December. Chief Allen advised that he hoped to have the process <br />done in time for the February meeting. <br />The next meeting will be held on February 21, 2019 at 6:00 PM at the Mooresville Police <br />Department. <br />
