Mark Taylor, Animal Control, is retiring on March 291, 2019. A complete job description needs to be <br />written. A motion was made by Councilwoman Hester with a second by Councilman Mathis to approve <br />Councilman Rogers and Councilman Stanley to write the description. Motion carried 5-0. <br />Public Comments: <br />Shane Williams had questions about the new Police Station. He said lmillion 126,000 was approved <br />from Redevelopment Commission for the remodel of Citizens Bank building and now Town Council was <br />requesting another $450,000 from Redevelopment Commission. What was this money for, was his <br />question. The money was to be for paving, generator, furniture, anything that is needed to complete <br />the station properly. <br />A motion was made by Councilman Rogers with a second by Councilman Stanley to approve payment of <br />the claims in the amount of $543,294.54. Motion carried 5-0. <br />The next meeting of the Mooresville Town Council will be Tuesday, February 19, 2019, at 6:30 P. M. at <br />the Mooresville Government Center. This will be a Public Hearing for Overton Industries abatement on <br />equipment. <br />There being no further business to come before the council at this time a motion was made by <br />Councilman Rogers_with a second by Councilman Stanley to adjourn the meeting.
