Gateway Project Update: <br />Bicentennial Park: Manns shared she is working with Brent Callahan and the Parks Department <br />regarding new benches for the park. She hopes to have those ready for approval at the April meeting so <br />they can be delivered and installed prior to the summer concert series kickoff. <br />Regarding the flame lights, Manns shared Myers Construction has completed Phase One, the weeps, the <br />second week of February, which seems to be working well. There is moisture but it's draining away. No <br />water is present deeper than the ribs at the bottom of the housing and by far is the best the contractor <br />has seen. The moisture can be vacuumed and dried and Phase 2, potting, is scheduled for next week. <br />The weather hasn't cooperated to complete Phase 2 to this point. Once Phase 2 is complete, they can <br />work to attain the performance bond. <br />The INDOT High Street project plans to hold a public meeting in the May/June timeframe. <br />Old Business: Commissioner Gutzwiller shared a Scope of Work from Banning Engineering to complete a <br />TOPO Survey on the Pauley Property and some offsite TOPO work in the amount of $23,000. <br />Commissioner Stultz made the motion to approve the contract as presented. Commissioner Stanley <br />seconded the motion, which carried 4-0. <br />Manns shared Dave Moore and the Street Department are willing to tear down the house for the cost of <br />a couple of dumpsters. Commissioner Gutzwiller stated he and Manns had walked through the house <br />and there was nothing to salvage. Manns shared that statatorally, the RDC may not have residential <br />rental properties. Commissioner Stultz took the opportunity to thank Mr. Moore and the Street <br />Department for their continued support. Commissioner Boyd made the motion to move forward with <br />demolishing the home on the Pauley Property. Commissioner Stanley seconded the motion, which <br />passed 4-0. <br />New Business: No new business <br />Legal Update: No legal update. <br />Economic Development Update: Manns shared she met with Leslie Wagner of Ginovus to discuss the <br />Shell Building, Pauley Property and economic development efforts in Mooresville. She also reconciled <br />Southbridge CAM for the month and will be sending out invoices. She shared legislative updates on SB <br />83, SB 566 and HB 1596 which each have passed their respective houses. <br />Review of Claims: Claims were presented in the amount of $13,310.70. Commissioner Stanley made the <br />motion to approve the claims as presented. Commissioner Boyd seconded the motion. The motion <br />carried 4-0. <br />For the Good of the Order: No update. <br />The next regular meeting will be Thursday, April 4 at 6:OOpm. <br />Commissioner Stultz made the motion to adjourn. <br />
