Mooresville Board of Zoning Appeals <br />Minutes Thursday November 14 I 2019 <br />Members present: Perry King, Mike Young, Charles McGuire, Neal <br />Allman and attorney Mel Daniel <br />Mike Young announced that there were two meeting this evening, <br />BZA and Plan Commission, he also stated the withdraw of a <br />continued item for the Plan Commission agenda incase audience <br />members wished to leave. <br />Mike Young called the meeting to order, Perry King made a motion <br />to approve the previous minut5ince <br />presented, Neal Allman seconded <br />the motion and motion passe �,, <br />First item on the agenda is a va request at 9716 N Bethel Rd., <br />presented by James Wisco on behalf of Niles Pauley. The variance / <br />special exception request is to allow a small fire arms business, <br />petitioner is seeking a federal firearms license. Mike Young <br />questioned public hours: 10am to 5:00pm, Charles McGuire <br />discussed traffic flow and parking: typically, no more than 1-2 <br />patrons at any given time. Mr. Wisco confirmed the owner would <br />carry a firearm on his person and utilizes hand tools rather than large <br />machinery. Mike Young called for questions from the audience, when <br />none were asked Mel Daniel spoke in regards to the variance <br />stipulating it is only for Mr. Niles Pauley, when no further questions <br />or comments were made Neal Allman made a motion to grant the <br />request for Niles Pauley to operate a small firearms business at the <br />property indicated, Perry King seconded the motion and the motion <br />passed 4-0. <br />
