Mooresville Board of Zoning Appeals <br />Thursday December 121h,2019 <br />Members present: Mike Young, Perry King, Neal Allman, Charles <br />McGuire and attorney Mel Daniel <br />Mike Young called the meeting to order then called for a motion on <br />the previous minutes. Perry King made a motion to accept the <br />minutes as typed, Neal Allman seconded the motion and the minutes <br />were accepted 4-0. <br />The first item on the agenda is a variance at 235 Indianapolis Rd <br />presented by Holloway Engineering on behalf of Josh Smalling. The <br />request is a rear yard set back from 5 feet to 2 feet in a B3 zoning. <br />The request is to allow construction of a new commercial storage <br />building to be placed in the same location as the building it is <br />replacing. When no questions or concerns were asked or expressed <br />Mike Young called for a motion; Perry King made the motion to <br />approve the variance, Neal Allman seconded the motion and the <br />motion passed 4-0. <br />The second item on the agenda is a variance request at 4198 E Fox <br />Ct. by Love Muffin Daycare to allow an in-home daycare business. <br />Property owner Jeff Jones presented pictures of the home daycare, <br />then addressed questions and concerns on the business hours, traffic, <br />stated they had applied for state licensing though in Indiana it is not <br />required. When no further questions were asked by the Board and <br />none from the audience Mike Young called for a motion; Perry King <br />made the motion to approve the request, Charles McGuire seconded <br />the motion and the motion passed unanimously. <br />The next item on the agenda is a variance request for Deborah <br />Michaelis, to allow a second -floor residence above a downtown <br />
