MINUTES FOR THE MOORESVILLE PARK & RECREATION DISTRICT BOARD December 14, 2020 The meeting was called to order at 7:00 pm. Board members present were Mark Taylor, David Pearson, Perry King, Brian Wiser, Lynn Adams, Erin Bechtold, Danny Shaw, Supt. Brent Callahan. Asst. Supt. Kris Wilson, Office Mgr. Stacy Freeman. Minutes of November 09, 2020, approved as presented. Motion made by David Pearson was seconded by Erin Bechtold. Motion carried. Superintendent Callahan starts the meeting by updating the Board on the process of OTP. Sidewalks installed will be ADA accessible. The 2020 yearend projects and expenses were encumbered at the Town Council to be paid in 2021. Projects and expenses include water slide coating, lifeguard uniforms, lifejackets, and acoustic panels for the concert series. Assistant Superintendent Wilson reports there are three RECO new hires. She asked the Board to approve the new hires (list in the pre -meeting note). Motion to approve the November new hires. A motion was made by Danny Shaw, seconded by David Pearson. Motion carried. Superintendent Callahan reports the FFCRA will affect our part-time employees. The Park Office is collecting the data. The cost of the Federal Law will affect our Non -Reverting account. President Brian Wiser presented a couple of donations accepted in the Park Office. One donation was from Indy Sport Liners and the second donation was in the Memory of Jenny Steffy. Assistant Superintendent Wilson states she is brainstorming alternate ideas to replace the dances that are usually offered in the winter. Superintendent Callahan reports in 2021, the Park is planning for a typical summer. Claims approved as presented. Motion made by Erin Bechtold seconded by Perry King Motion carried. The next meeting is on January 11, 2021, at 7:00 pm at the Mooresville Public Library. Meeting adjourned at 7:15 pm by David Pearson, seconded by Lynn Adams. Motion carried.
