RM <br />The Mooresville Town Council met in special session, session 2 on Tuesday June <br />25th, 2019 at 7:15pm, at the Mooresville Government Center. <br />Members Present: Tom Warthen, David Rogers, Jessica Hester, Dustin Stanley, <br />Mark Mathis and attorney Mel Daniel. <br />President Tom Warthen gave the prayer then called the second meeting to order. <br />Mark Mathis made a motion to approve the June 25', session 1 minutes as <br />presented, Dustin Stanley seconded the motion and the minutes were accepted 5-0. <br />President Tom Warthen presented 11 CF l's, all on behalf of TOA, President <br />Warthen stated the anticipated and actual investment amounts, all are well within <br />compliance: <br />Resolution 2 2013, motion to approve by Mark Mathis, seconded by Dustin <br />Stanley and accepted 5-0. <br />Resolution 8 2014, motion to approve by Mark Mathis, seconded by Dustin <br />Stanley and accepted 5-0. <br />Resolution 8 2015, motion to approve by Mark Mathis, seconded by David <br />Rogers and accepted 5-0. <br />Resolution 10 2015, motion to approve by Mark Mathis, seconded by David <br />Rogers and accepted 5-0. <br />Resolution 12 2015, motion to approve by Mark Mathis, seconded by Dustin <br />Stanley and accepted 5-0. <br />Resolution 2 2016, motion to approve by Mark Mathis, seconded by David <br />Rogers and accepted 5-0. <br />Resolution 2 2018, motion to approve by Mark Mathis, seconded by Dustin <br />Stanley and accepted 5-0. <br />No unfinished business was presented. <br />During new business Dustin Stanley gave an update on Black Dog Brewery. <br />Nothing from legal. <br />No Department Head reports <br />Public Comments: Shane Williams spoke in regards to the recent Police <br />Commission meeting, the questions and or concerns regarding the necessity of <br />council woman Jessica Hester needing to complete Public Records Requests, he <br />further questioned the Town Council on past practice, expressing concern for the <br />process. Chris Hester also spoke on behalf of these concerns, the timeliness of <br />responses and expressed concern at the amount of time Department Heads spend at <br />local Town Council members businesses. <br />When no further business was brought before the council, David Rogers made a <br />motion to adjourn, Dustin Stanley seconded the motion and the motion carried 5-0. <br />Next meeting Tuesday July 2nd 2019. <br />President <br />ATTEST:. <br />T VanHook <br />
