SECTION XI. LONGEVITY SCALE <br />0 — 4 years $0.00 <br />5 — 9 years 500.00 per year ($19.23 bi-weekly) <br />10 —14 years 1,000.00 per year (38.46 bi-weekly) <br />15 -19 years 1,5000.00 (57.69 bi-weekly) <br />20 years and above 2,0000.00 (72.92 bi-weekly) <br />All longevity is payable in equal increments over the pay period for that year. <br />This longevity scale was added in 2002 and is not additional to previous longevity amounts <br />being paid but whichever is greater. Previous longevity pay shall be calculated by <br />multiplying the number of years employed by the Town of Mooresville by $200.00. The <br />number of years employed shall be determined by counting the calendar year an employee <br />was hired as 1 complete year, plus each successive year the employee has continued to be <br />employed by the Town, plus the calendar year 1991 (to be treated as 1 additional year) and <br />adding these 3 figures together to derive the amount of longevity pay an employee would <br />be entitled to. No employee shall receive any credit for longevity service after the year 1991. <br />Longevity formula 2002 and thereafter shall be as follows: <br />Longevity pay shall be calculated by using a "longevity scale" set out at the top of this section <br />and applying the following definitions: a year of service shall be calculated by the date the <br />individual was hired on a full time basis and totaling 365 days to complete 1 year of service. The <br />adjustment in pay shall be made annually based upon the number of years of service as of the <br />employee's hire date of each calendar year. <br />SECTION XII. OTHER BENEFITS <br />Medical insurance shall be paid to all Full -Time, non -seasonal Park Employees, all Full -Time <br />employees of the Town and Part -Time employees of the Town that are scheduled regularly for <br />30 hours of work per week (this excludes Fire Reserves and Part -Time or Casual Dispatchers <br />that are Part -Time employees) This does include Elected Officials who elect medical insurance <br />coverage. <br />Eligible employees shall be entitled to retirement benefits provided by the Town of Mooresville <br />pursuant to Resolutions and Ordinances passed by the Town of Mooresville that would entitle <br />them to these benefits. Medical insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, life insurance and <br />disability insurance shall be provided pursuant to existing plans. <br />70815418v1 <br />
