OM <br />already in use, but the renewals are at different times. The fee options area I I -inclusive of maintenance <br />and licensing forth e next four years. It was agreed that the Council would take time to have legal review <br />the contract and for the Council to review the funding options for this contract. <br />Department Head Reports— <br />Chief Dalton introduced the two newest hires for the department. He also updated the Council <br />regarding the lost Engine title; it was explained that the title replacement would need to be pursued via <br />a court order. <br />Legal — <br />There were none. <br />Public Comments — <br />Kim Burgess from the Farm House Market came before the Council to request a 2 -hour time extension <br />for the final street festival of the summer. After some discussion about the type of event and who could <br />change the time frame, Councilman Williams made a motion to amend the September 18th event and <br />extend it by 2 hours. Councilman Swinney seconded. Motion carried 4-0 <br />Approval of Claims - <br />Councilman Swinney made the motion to approve claims for $1,045,759.69. Councilman Stanley <br />seconded. Motion carried 4-0 <br />Town Council Comments — <br />Councilman Williams stated he would like to see something done about the guard rail at Indianapolis <br />Road and Bridge Street. Council President Warthen discussed the previous conversation about the <br />guardrail, and he asked council members to look at a guardrail design in Plainfield to assist in <br />implementing a change. <br />Councilman Stanley gave an update on some comments received on the Planning commission, and he is <br />still gathering feedback. <br />The next regular scheduled meeting of the Mooresville Town Council will be held on Tuesday, <br />September 21, 2021, at 6:30 P.
