Mooresville Metropolitan <br />Police Department <br />Board of Police Commissioners <br />Ernie Wilson <br />Fred Settle <br />Christopher Hobbick <br />MOORESVILLE POLICE COMMISSION MINUTES <br />These are the Minutes of the regularly scheduled meeting of the Mooresville Police Commission <br />held at the Mooresville Police Department on July 15, 2021. <br />MEMBERS PRESENT: Fred Settle, Ernie Wilson, Christopher Hobbick <br />ALSO PRESENT: Chief Kevin Julian <br />The meeting was called to order at 6:00 PM. <br />Ernie Wilson made a motion to accept the minutes from the June 17`h meeting. Fred Settle <br />seconded. No discussion. Motion passed unanimously. <br />New Commissioner Christopher Hobbick introduced himself. <br />There was no old business from the Police Commissioners. <br />Chief Julian stated that he had old business and asked attorney Charles Braun about the Police <br />Officer's bill of rights. Charles Braun stated that his plan was to finish the bill of rights and in <br />two weeks he would email it to them. He stated that his intentions are for the bill to be approved <br />at the next meeting. <br />Chief Julian presented the Police Commission with a revised SOP regarding the destruction of <br />animals. There was some discussion regarding the changes wanting to be made. <br />Chief Julian updated the Police Commission on the status of the three new probationary police <br />officers. Chief Julian also advised that an interview had been set up to interview a lateral transfer <br />from another department. There was some discussion about whether or not the Police <br />Commission wanted to speak with the lateral before he was presented to the Commission for <br />approval. There was discussion that a special executive meeting of the Police Commission would <br />be held to speak with the lateral transfer and that date would be provided to the Chief on the next <br />day. <br />Chief Julian updated the Police Commission on the status of the severe weather sirens. <br />Attorney Braun welcomed the new police <br />
