MOORESVILLE TOWN COUNCIL <br />OF MORGAN COUNTY, INDIANA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2021-)& 2-V <br />A RESOLUTION DECLARING CERTAIN PERSONAL PROPERTY <br />TO BE SURPLUS <br />WHEREAS, it has come to the attention of the Town Council of the Town of <br />Mooresville, Indiana ("Town') that certain property owned by the Town is now surplus <br />and should be disposed of; and <br />WHEREAS, Ind. Code § 5-22-22 et seq. authorizes the Town to follow certain <br />procedures to dispose of surplus property. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE <br />TOWN OF MOORESVILLE, INDIANA AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. The above recitals are incorporated by reference. <br />Section 2. The following property belongs to the Town, is no longer needed, <br />and is declared surplus property: <br />• Light Bar <br />• Vehicle interior center console <br />• Siren Box <br />• Visor lights <br />Section 3. The aforementioned surplus property has a total estimated value of <br />less than $5,000.00 and shall be disposed of in accordance with Indiana Code § 5-22-22-6. <br />Section 4. This Resolution is effective upon passage. <br />1 <br />
